The initial idea for this organization was imagined following the unexpected, tragic passing of our son, Tyler. Battling the immense desire to honor his life and the fear of forgetting him, it was at this time that our “angels” lifted us up and helped us form who we are today. We are so incredibly blessed to have the endless support of family, friends, and an incredible community that have joined our cause. Please join us in our commitment to pursuit of excellence, generosity, and service.
Our organization creates, manages, and executes locally-based fundraising events that help strengthen community fellowship, and raises money for educational scholarship packages awarded to our community youth. We have also recently expanded the scope of our organization to include support for Military and Veterans-related initiatives, as well as our Fly High Community Services Team. Beginning with our community volunteer fundraising team, to our growing relationships with an amazing network of charitable event hosts, local donors, & event sponsors, we are honored to receive such amazing support and commitment to community growth.
The Tyler Spillman Memorial Scholarship was founded in the Fall of 2017 after our son was tragically killed in an automobile accident at the age of 18. Tyler was a recent graduate of Klein Collins High School, and was playing football at Trinity Valley Community College at the time of the accident. The loss of our son has been unimaginably painful, however the love & support that we have received from the community, family, & friends has been overwhelming. You lifted us up when we could not stand on our own, and you have given us pictures, videos, & stories that have allowed us to know our son through your eyes. You will never know how grateful we are for this gift. We are incredibly proud of the man that Tyler became, and the lives that he impacted during his short stay on earth. He lived a good life, filled with love, laughter, & adversity, and it is our primary goal to honor his legacy of excellence, generosity, & service. We miss him dearly every day, but thanks to your support we were able to create this organization that will not only honor our son, but is dedicated to changing lives, the same way that you changed ours when we needed you most.
